Lessons of 2018

It’s been a year. A year of self exploration, challenging journeys and exciting destinations. It’s been a year of growth and almost a year of social media silence.

If you’re interested to know how my life changed due to social media detox - read this, maybe it will inspire you to make some changes. In short, it was an experience that taught me a lot about myself and mindful living. And right now, I’m excited to come back to Fit Life Mode.

2018 itself was an amazing year. As usual there were ups - travelling, spending quality time with family and starting my own business; and there were downs - injuring myself twice, not being able to walk and feeling really low. 

I’m grateful for everything - the ups and the downs. The happy times are now the memories I’ll cherish forever. And the not so happy moments are the lessons that taught me to take a better care of myself. 

There is a silver lining in everything, only if you choose to look for one.

I had a really hard time accepting my injuries. There were tears, anger, frustration, feeling better and then worse only to restart the emotional rollercoaster. It was a tough lesson but thanks to yoga and meditation I’ve grown stronger and more self-caring.

2018, thank you for everything and everyone. 

I’m excited for 2019. I know it’s going to be a good year. A year of wellness and happiness. And I look forward to sharing my journey on Fit Life Mode.
